What is a Special Memories Fundraiser?
A Special Memories Fundraiser is a unique fundraiser that offers beautiful, quality portraits to the families that participate. Marnie does her best to really capture the relationships of the families she photographs.
How does a church/organization benefit from a fundraiser like this?
The group that is hosting the fundraiser will receive 20% of the total sales. But not only will they receive a financial benefit, they will also receive beautiful images and "special memories" that will last a lifetime. Most families only get the family portraits taken once every 5-10 years! With a Special Memories Fundraiser , they will not only be able to invest in beautiful images, but also invest in the future of their organization!
How long does something like this take to complete?
Once you have scheduled your fundraiser it usually takes around 2 1/2 months to complete. This does however depend on the amount of people that participate.
Is there any up-front cost to the organization?
No, the organization pays nothing to host a Special Memories Fundraiser. Any start-up costs are covered by Special Memories.
What is the cost to families?
Each family will need to pay a $15 session fee, that will hold their time slot. Some families do like to have their entire family photographed
(grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins). The only requirement in this case is that each individual family must pay separate session fees.
How much do the images cost?
Special Memories offers 6 different packages to choose from, plus special discounts that are only available to the families the day they view their images.
How long does it take to get the images back?
It takes any where from 2-3 weeks to receive the images. The images will be brought to the organization and passed out to each family. Marnie will be there to answer any questions that might come up.
